I'm Clare, Director of Campion Coaching
& Consultancy.
My Story
​I’m Clare Campion, a Leadership & Transition Coach, Organisational Consultant, and proud mum to an 8-year-old daughter.
Through Campion Coaching & Consultancy, I help individuals and organisations create values-led cultures where people and performance thrive together.​​​

I’ve always been a great problem solver, cheerleader and ‘builder upper’ of others. Life experience has certainly helped to provide a personal insight into many areas that benefit my work with clients and organisations.
I was a mentor in my previous workplace for women moving into leadership roles, and this naturally progressed into Coaching. I then completed my Coaching qualification and realised I had found my true calling.
I am deeply motivated by meaningful work that helps others grow and thrive, and I know the value of empathy and connection. I seriously considered becoming a Therapist, when I was 25, so much so that I completed 2 Counselling qualifications. I then realised I had no real-life experience and decided to put that idea to one side.
With more than 20 years’ experience in UK Higher Education, my background spans leadership development, wellbeing strategy, and culture change. I’ve led large-scale projects focused on inclusion and resilience, and for 4½ years, I co-chaired Manchester Metropolitan University’s Working Parents & Carers Network, representing over 250 staff members.
That experience taught me how vital it is to design workplaces that support real lives, and how much difference compassionate, clear-minded leadership can make.

My coaching and consultancy work focuses on:

I combine a values-based coaching approach with trauma-informed awareness and practical strategy. My aim is to help clients lead and live with clarity, calm, and connection.

Professionally, I hold an ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management, am a Senior Registered Professional Coach with the Global Institute of Organisational Coaching, and am accredited in DISC behavioural and values profiling.
I’m currently deepening my expertise through trauma-informed somatic practitioner training, bringing body-based awareness into leadership and wellbeing work.
At the core of everything I do is compassion: for ourselves, our teams, and the transitions we all face.
When we lead with empathy, purpose, and integrity, we create organisations that not only perform well, but feel good to belong to.
